- The Alaska legislature confirmed Mike Dunleavy’s nominee for Alaska AG, Treg Taylor, by a vote of 35-24. AG Taylor previously served as Deputy AG in charge of the civil division at the Alaska Department of Law, and has worked as in-house counsel to various Alaska businesses and as a commercial litigator at an Anchorage law firm.
- Republican Attorneys General Association (“RAGA”) members unanimously affirmed South Carolina AG Alan Wilson as RAGA Chairman. As previously reported, Georgia AG Chris Carr recently resigned from the chairmanship of RAGA and from its executive committee, citing in his resignation letter “differences of opinion” about RAGA’s future direction.
