Austin Knudsen, a fifth generation Montanan, was elected as the 25th Montana Attorney General in 2020 and reelected in 2024. Most recently, AG Knudsen served as the Roosevelt County attorney, before which he was in private practice and also served in the Montana House of Representatives from 2011 to 2019. From 2015 to 2019, AG Knudsen served two terms as the Speaker of the Montana House, one of the youngest people to serve in the role in Montana history.
