Ellen Rosenblum is Oregon’s first female AG. Prior to her appointment in June 2012 by former Governor John Kitzhaber to replace former AG John Kroger, she was a judge on the Oregon Court of Appeals for six years and an Oregon Circuit Court and District Court judge. AG Rosenblum has announced she will not seek reelection in 2024.
The AG is an elected position in Oregon.
